Hello subscribers! Welcome to the first of our nightly briefings at the Aircraft Interiors Expo, keeping you in touch with what’s going on in the Hamburg Messe this week — whether you’re working late on Monday like us, up early before Tuesday’s first official day of the show, or supporting from back in the office.

We popped into a few key stands for previews while construction was still under way on Monday — so please forgive any carpet-covers, assorted boxes, building materials or occasionally missing elements to seats.

Those are the price of getting pre-show early access to bring you this kind of intelligence, and our thanks to the folks who invited us in between the forklifts and cherrypickers.

There was a lot to see, and even more to write about, but here are some of the specific highlights we recommend you make a beeline for at this year’s AIX.
